I
am a local girl who spent my childhood growing up in
Palos Verdes and Manhattan Beach. As a young lady I was very busy
doing dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading.
After graduating
high school I was off to University of California, Santa Barbara
(UCSB). (Go Gauchos!) During my time as an undergrad I was able
to spend a quarter as an intern in Washington, D.C. for an international
event planning company. I also spent a summer studying abroad
at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England. Wow did I LOVE
it there! Finally my college career came to an end and I graduated
with a BA in Business Economics.
After graduating from UCSB I went back to England and spent one
year working at Cambridge University in England as a teaching
assistant and a student liaison to American and Japanese exchange
students.
Upon returning
to the U.S. I spent one year as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist
to Juvenile Wards of the Court. Needless to say, everyday was
completely different from the previous.
I decided to go back to school and earned my Masters of Education
and Professional Clear Teaching Credential from Pepperdine University.
This year
will be my ninth year at Richmond Street and teaching 3rd grade.

When I am not at school, you might find me:
- Walking with my Yorkshire Terrier "Kozmo"
- Spending
time with my family, my sister is my best friend.
- Going to the gym (I love pilates, yoga, and spin!)
- Riding my bike down by the beach
- Reading a good book
- Playing beach flag football or beach volleyball
- Cheering for the Trojans Football team
- Cooking (or pretending I know how)
