El Segundo Run for Education Sponsored by:

DATE: Saturday, March 29, 2008
TIME: The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:00 a.m. and the Kids’ Fun Run starts at its conclusion, approximately 9:15 a.m.
WHERE: The starting line will be in front of El Segundo High School, 640 Main St, just south of Oak Avenue on the east side of Main Street, leaving the southbound lanes open to vehicles.
WHY: The event is the PTA’s major fundraiser each year, providing extra funding for El Segundo’s public schools. The Run also serves as a centerpiece for the School District’s new Wellness policy while providing an excellent opportunity to promote multi-generational heath and fitness throughout our community.
