Welcome all new and returning students and parents to ESMS! Our school is a place of which to be proud. We have a long tradition of academic excellence, with consistently high achievement levels, demonstrated by our Academic Performance Index (API), which places us among the top schools in California. Moreover, our students understand that their success is measured through their character and leadership as much as it is by their grades and test scores.

NOVEMBER

• 6 -REFLECTIONS CONTEST ENTRIES DUE: The Reflections Contest is in full swing! Students need to submit original artwork with the theme "Beauty Is..." by November 6. Entry forms are available in the front office, and the categories are: Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Visual Arts, and Photography. • 11 - Veteran's Day - No School
• 12 - Hurricane of Cash from Fall Fundraiser
• 13 - PTSA Limo Rides from the Fall Fundraiser
• 17 - PTSA Meeting 7pm in Mike Gordon Library
• 18 - Make Up Pictures 8 - 12 noon for students who missed the pictures; in Bulldog Hall.

DECEMBER

• 1 - ESMS Blood drive in Bulldog Hall (BDH)(all day). Contact Dan Duffy.
• 4 - Student of Character: Trustworthiness, 7:30 - 8:00 am BDH
• 10 - Winter Band Concert 7-9pm
• 11 - End of Trimester 1
• 15, 16 2-4 p.m. End of Trimester Parent Conferences. Contact teachers if you'd like to set up a conference during this time. 15 minute time limit
• Winter Break Dec 21 - Jan. 1st.
