GalvanGst23: my great grandmother is very protective. after she died, she left 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren behind. she loved being with us. sadly, when i was 9, she died of natural causes. she was an elderly woman and she had many conditions like diabetes and other stuff. GalvanGst23: i believe in spirits. i believe in good spirits (god's spirits) and bad spirits (the devil's spirits.) i believe that some help and some haunt. i have never been haunted, but my friend, marian, has encountered haunting spirits. there are also stories of saints that have encountered haunting spirits. i believe that spirits are all around you. according to catholicism, the there are spirits that do not try to haunt you, although they may try to communicate with you and you are startled by the encounter. some spirits are from purgatory and are just asking for your prayers to make it up to heaven.
