the responsibility of each player to check the board every day before practice.
Practice: Practices will be in the north gym (the
girls’ gym).

Practice Tardies: In the case of an unexcused tardy, the player will run a set of 17’s
after practice for each minute that she was late. A player can run a maximum of 8 17’s in any
one day, the remaining will be made up after the next practice.
B.
Missing Practices:
1.
If the player is going to
miss practice, the coach must be informed:
A.
ahead of time
B.
why the player will miss
practice
C.
when to expect the player
back

If a player is in school,
but will miss practice that afternoon because of illness or an emergency, that
player or the players’ parent must notify Coach Doering. You may
leave a message at the following numbers:

If a player is not at school
that day and will miss practice, she must notify Coach Doering
Penalty- Any girl who misses a practice without
first contacting Coach Doering will
sit out the next game. It is not acceptable to ask someone else to
carry a message for you. This is your responsibility and must be carried out by
you or your parent

Game Tardies- Same policies

B.
Missing Games- A player who
wishes to be excused from a game should follow the same procedure as she would
for missing a practice session.
Penalty-Unless excused, all players are expected to
be at every game. Please check the 2005-2006
Girls’ Basketball schedule so that there will be no misunderstandings. If a player misses a game(s), without first
being excused she will miss the number of future games equal to the number of
games which she missed. No player will ever be excused from a
game so that she can go on vacation.

Playing Time Any player with a question or concern
regarding her playing time must personally speak
with her coach.
I want the players, not the parents, to speak with the coach because
they are the ones at practice.
Uniforms A. Each player will be
checkout a set of home and away uniforms as well as a warm-up shirt.
B. Each
player is responsible taking care of these uniforms and will be charged for any
lost or damaged gear.
C. When
participating in a tournament, players should bring both sets of uniforms.
