6 (Truly Exceptional; Superior; Transcendental)

The student demonstrates truly exceptional outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates superlative abilities, superior skills, and exceptional attitude.  The student transcends most other students in comparison with the ability to integrate core knowledge, to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to develop individually.

 

5 (Good; Exceptional; Above-Average)

The student demonstrates exceptional outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates good abilities, exceptional skills, and above average attitude.  The student is above average to other students in comparison with the ability to integrate core knowledge, to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to develop individually.

 

4 (Accurate; Appropriate; Apt; Suitable; Competent; Common)

The student demonstrates accurate and suitable outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates suitable abilities, competent skills, and appropriate attitude.  The student is average in comparison to other students with the ability to integrate core knowledge, think critically, to communicate effectively, and to develop individually.

 

3 (Minimal; Rudimentary; Simple; Elementary; Limited)

The student demonstrates rudimentary outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates elementary abilities, rudimentary skills, and indifferent attitudes.  The student is average or below average in comparison to other students with the ability to integrate core knowledge, think critically, communicate effectively, and to develop individually.

 

2 (Sub-Standard; Minimal; Inappropriate; Inaccurate)

The student demonstrates sub-standard outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates minimal abilities, sub-standard skills, and poor attitude.  The student is below average in comparison with other students with the ability to integrate core knowledge, think critically, communicate effectively, and develop individually.

 

1 (Negligible; Off-task; Inappropriate; Faulty)

 The student demonstrates sub-standard outcomes in movement skills, movement knowledge, self-image, personal development, and social development.  The student demonstrates negligible abilities, sub-standard skills, and inappropriate attitudes.  The student is well below average in comparison to other students with the ability to integrate core knowledge, to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to demonstrate individually.
