6(Truly exceptional; A)

The student demonstrates an in depth understanding of Peer Assistance principals and concepts and work is consistently correct, complete and on time.  The student works efficiently and quickly to complete assignments and constantly works to improve skills.  The student supports solutions with evidence.  The student demonstrates an exceptional attitude and intuition toward class and  respect toward participants and instructor. 

 

5(Commendable; A-)

The student demonstrates a solid understanding of Peer Assistance principals and concepts and work is consistently correct, complete and on time but may contain minor flaws. The student works efficiently and quickly to complete assignments and works to improve skills.  The student supports solutions with evidence.  The student demonstrates an outstanding attitude and intuition toward class and participants. 

 

4(Satisfactory; B or C+)

The student demonstrates a general understanding of Peer Assistance principals and concepts.  Work is complete, usually on time but is not always complete and contains flaws.  The student demonstrates appropriate awareness and occasional intuitive abilities.  The student demonstrates a good attitude toward class and participants

 

3(Proficient; C)

The student demonstrates a basic understanding of Peer Assistance principals and concepts.  Work is usually on time but not always complete and contains flaws.  The student’s ability to comprehend the concept being taught is limited.  Student outcomes demonstrate simple awareness and the student demonstrates an indifferent attitude towards work and class participants. 

 

2(Limited; C- or D)

The student demonstrates a limited understanding of Peer Assistance principals and concepts and little evidence of correct solutions to problems.  Work is seldom on time, not complete and contains major flaws.  Student outcomes demonstrate minimal awareness and the student demonstrates a poor attitude towards work, instructor and class participants.

 

The student 1(Minimal; D- or F)

The student demonstrates little or no evidence of understanding of Peer Assistance principals and practices and demonstrates a negligible ability and substandard skills in completion of assignments.  Work is consistently late and usually not correct or complete. The student disrupts class environment and does not follow rules and regulations and demonstrates a negative and disruptive attitude toward work, instructor and class participants.
