Desperate Housewives
By Kim

This past season on Desperate Housewives was full of drama and betrayal.  Lynette was involved in a hold-up at a grocery store, where she was shot and also was close to having an affair with one of her employees.  Tom and Lynette still have to find a way to make it through Lynette’s recently diagnosed cancer.

After waiting six months for Mike to wake up from his coma, Susan faced the reality that Mike might never come back to her. The lonely grieving Susan turned to the understanding Ian, who was going through a similar situation.  Before long, Susan found herself falling in love with Ian’s charming personality and sexy British accent.  Meanwhile, Mike woke up and could not remember six months of his life; including whether or not he killed a past client and unfortunately for Susan this happened while they were a couple.  After being manipulated by Eddie Brit he turned to therapy to try and get his memory back.  Soon after his therapy started he began to remember all the wonderful memories he had with Susan.  A little while later, Susan found herself in love with two men, and a difficult choice to make. She made the sensible decision and went with the man whom she had already made a promise to, Ian.  Then, unexpectedly, Ian refused because he knew Susan loved Mike more.  Finally, Susan and Mike got engaged after waiting three years.

Gabby and her husband Carlos got divorced and the Mayor elect- Victor Lang became infatuated with Gabby. Victor pursued her and they dated for a couple months, before Victor popped the question. At her wedding, Gabby found out that Victor was just using her to get votes for the upcoming Senate election.  In Gabby’s heartbreak she ended up drunk, kissing her husband Carlos.

Alma, Orson’s ex-wife, and Orson’s mother, plotted to get Orson back together with Alma.  Luckily Orson’s mother and Alma fell off a roof and died.  Then, while Bree and Orson were on their belated honeymoon, they found out that Danielle, Bree’s daughter, was pregnant.  Then Bree faked a pregnancy so that she could pretend that Danielle’s baby was really hers.

After Edie found out about Mike’s “so-called” murder she ended their relationship.  Then she became interested in Carlos.  She tried to trick him into falling in love with her.  She found out Carlos did not love her and committed suicide.  Overall, the season finale was a surprising cliff-hanger which left one with the feeling of wanting more.  That season finale left all desperate housewives fans desperate for more and we can not wait until next season!
