A girl may think she is doing the right thing,
when really he is walking farther and farther away from her. Many
girls have found themselves in this very position, and did not see
his small figure in the distance until it was too late. This can be
prevented, of course. First of all, she has to keep it to herself.
She should not go telling every friend about the guy who helped her
pick up her books after purposely letting them fall to the floor to
get his attention. Most likely, the guy will find out about this,
from one girl’s friend who happens to have a big mouth and impulsive
actions. Imagine how that looks to him. She will end up scaring him
off before he got started. Also, if one of the girl’s friends tells
another, the tale may differ ever so slightly, therefore becoming
dangerous if it starts to spread. This tends to happen around the
lovely holiday that we have just experienced. No girl wants any of
the horribly embarrassing rumors that could begin if she continues
to talk about her new prince charming. She thinks it might be hard
to prevent this, but it is not. It is actually really easy. All she
has to do is keep her mouth closed. Secondly, it is not cute when
the girl acts like she does not know what two plus two is. Playing
stupid will get her nowhere. According to a senior, “Dumbing herself
down, and making herself ditzier,” is not exactly an attraction.
Girls think guys like it, when it really does nothing for him, and
makes her look bad. Girls should be themselves, and not pretend.
“Thinking she needs to be anyone other than herself- not being
yourself and dropping any morals is a total turn off,” says a
sophomore guy. And it is true. Think about when people are fake, how
much it can actually bother someone. Many hate it. Well the same
goes for relationships. The girl should be true to who she is. |
