Boys Soccer Has Rough Start
By Leland Curry, Staff Writer/Photographer

Boys' soccer has started with a series of wins and losses. With a current record of 3-2 the Eagles have fallen in a pattern.
In their game against Morningside, the team lost a grueling game 0-3. The Eagles played tough but Morningside came out on top. The Morningside goalie was just too good compared to the flagging offense of the Eagles.
This was followed by a game against Beverly Hills where they also lost 0-3. Their luck soon changed in a game with Windward where they won 3-1. They also won their match against  St. Monica where they won 6-0.
On Tuesday, December 12, they had another good game against Serra where they won 4-1. "We were off to a shaky start but we're starting to pull it together" says sophomore Ben Doucette and they are indeed pulling it together. With this game under their belts, they proved to themselves they can beat anybody.
The Eagles have thus far played some pretty tough opponents, so it looks like they will do well in league. They should have a good season ahead of them, so go support them!
