It's the time of year when people are coming together and watching holiday movies that demonstrate compassion and love. Just to name a few of these holiday movies… A Christmas Story-Nine-year-old Ralph "Ralphie" Parker wants only one thing for Christmas -- an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model BB rifle with a compass in the stock. When Ralph asks his mother for a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas, she says, "No, you'll shoot your eye out". Then when Ralph writes a paper for his teacher Mrs. Shields, he thinks it is his golden opportunity to express his desire to have a Red Ryder BB gun. Ralph gets a C+ on the theme, and Mrs. Shields has written "You'll shoot your eye out" on the theme. Even Santa Claus tells him the same thing. Ralph thinks he'll never get the BB gun for Christmas now. But someone may have planned a surprise for Ralph. Christmas Vacation-All Clark Griswold wanted for Christmas was a nice family gathering. Yet when his deranged family members come into town, all hell breaks loose. First of all Clark has to deal with his snobby neighbors Todd and Margo. The next big annoyance is the unexpected arrival of Clark's cousin Catherine, her sloppy husband Eddie, and two of their kids. Everything Clark does seem to end up badly, he cannot even seem to get the whole family to get a long. The Santa Clause-Scott Calvin unintentionally becomes Santa Clause when the man in the red suit falls of his roof and he puts on his suit. Never did he expect what would happen next. Scott then took on the responsibility and in doing so became closer with his son Charlie. Scott's became a different person and changed for the better. Jack Frost-Charlie Frost and his father
don't have a great relationship, because his dad Jack is always on
the road with his band. When Jack dies in a car accident, Charlie
thinks he will never know his father. However Jacks soul takes form
of a snowman that Charlie built. Suddenly Jack and Charlie have a
second chance at getting to know each other. Neither of them waste
their second chance. |
