Why Girls Love Shopping

Most guys hate shopping with a passion, the whole process drives them crazy. They first have to find whatever they are looking for, then try them on, decide on whether or not to buy it, and then they either continue to search for it, or they buy it.  For girls shopping is a whole other story, they absolutely love it.  Some girls even say that it gives them an adrenaline rush, but who knows if there is actually a scientific reason for this.  Senior Megan Roy agrees and says that “Whoever said that money can’t buy happiness didn’t know the right way to the mall”.  Shopping is like therapy, except not as much talking.  Most girls normally have many qualifications that need apply when they are deciding if they want to buy it.  These qualifications usually consist of; size, fit, color, style, and price. Guys on the other hand just want to get shopping over and down with, they just don’t understand.  Junior Bill Wise, proved this point further when he said “Girls are never satisfied with what they got and that’s why they shop so much”.  Girls know that they have made the right choice when they are really excited to get to school and find out their friends’ reactions to what they recently bought. 

Some girls can shop all they like; others do not have that option so they enjoy shopping whenever they can, which is not considered a crime, but it always leaves these girls wanting to go shopping more.  Girls usually hate repeating outfits too frequently, so they always want to buy more clothes.  Many girls are very picky about what they wear, so they are always looking for something that will fit their interests and that is one of the reasons that girls are always going to the mall.  The only problem is that no matter what girls do, they always seem to run out of money too quickly.  They tend to make the mistake of always spending their money all in one place, so for some girls shopping is a rare occasion that they like to treasure as often as they can. 

There are many stores out there, so girls have a very wide variety of shops that they can choose from, so countless girls ponder on what store deserves their money.  An additional inconvenience for girls is that many stores make clothing to fit a certain body type, so many girls are sad when they find out that something is not flattering on them.  Also, girls come in all shapes and sizes so for tons of girls it is impossible to find something that fits them in all the right ways, which then causes them to have to shop all the time.  So in some cases girls have an excuse for shopping all the time, but the majority of the time they really do not, and they are just shopping all the time to have a great time outside of their homework and chores.  Girls should probably find a hobby that can better occupy their brains, but that will never happen because like the pop star, Cindy Lauper once sang, girls just wanna have fun.

Girls love to shop like guys love to play video games. Every girl has some obsession; shopping just happens to be the common girl’s main fixation.  Besides, girls like to have fun because it makes them feel excited, and happy, shopping is an easy way for most girls to accomplish that goal. Everyone else should learn to accept the truth that girls were born to shop and they are never going to stop.
