Welcome back to Center Street School for the 2011-2012 school year!

As your PTA president, I am excited to share the news of upcoming events and opportunities here at Center Street School.

This time of year can be overwhelming with so much information coming in and so many activities already starting. Rest assured, we don’t expect everyone to participate in every event! The scope and variety we offer gives you the ability to pick and choose so join in where you wish.

PTA is an opportunity for parents and staff to work together for the good of all children. No matter your schedule or skills, there is a place for you in our PTA. We strive to be a welcoming community with the shared mission of making our school a wonderful experience for our children. When you join PTA it doesn’t commit you to anything! It does open a door for you to choose how you want to impact your child’s experience and it gives you a voice in the decision making of our organization.

Meetings

Our meetings are the third Wednesday of the month alternating 7:15pm and 9:15am. Even if you can’t come to meetings, joining PTA sends a message to our children that school is important to you and what they do here is important.

Your PTA board members are happy to answer questions you may have and contact information is printed in this newsletter. I am truly honored to be a part of this school community as I do not believe a more dedicated and genuine group exists. Join us as we begin another great year full of opportunities and experiences that will shape our children’s future.
